Community Mental Health Advocacy – Conwy and Denbighshire
Our advocates are fully qualified and able to provide support to people and carers with mental health conditions, living in the community.
Our advocates can listen to individual concerns, provide information about their rights, mental health law, benefits, and many more.
They can help access advice from guidance agencies, and support your patient to think through what options they have and become more involved in the decisions that are made about their life.
In order for our advocates to provide this service, clients must meet the following criteria:
- Be a resident of Conwy or Denbighshire areas
- If you are a resident in a care home, you must have been placed there by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board
- Be a minimum of 18 years’ old
- Able to identify with having mental health problems
We are not able to provide a service for:
Individuals who have moved to the Conwy and Denbighshire counties, that are self-funded.
